Google search box running AdSense
Remember those little annoying blue boxes I had all over my old website? They are not coming back to this website, I have something much better. The Google search box whenever you search for something on my site or on the entire internet will spew a few ads on the results page that also fit your search criteria. This is a much less obtrusive way of possibly making a little extra money here and there and also giving you guys the luxury of having the ability to search the internet and my website right from my website! Like every single other thing on the website the Google box also has the statistics tracking code implemented, which will allow me to see how many people are using it. I hope the Google box becomes a positive component to all of you're browsing experiences!
Sidebar bugfix uploaded and new Contact Me page set up

It appears that when I installed the Google Analytics system that I may have involuntarily caused a small bug in the code on the sidebar. This code error has been fixed and you should not see anything like shown above.
If any of you see any other bugs please contact me via the new Contact Me page. Make sure to select bug report in the drop down box. Those of you interested in helping me add more things to the subject dropdown box please drop a line by setting it to Suggestions.

Major redesign complete!
The entire website has been completely revamped. All of it took only about 52 hours of work, reason it took such little time is because my sleep is so screwed up I decided I would work on it late into the nights. All blog posts containing photo gallery links have been rerouted to the gallery that is built into this website! The transition is officially totally complete. There is absolutely nothing left behind on the .Mac server. I would outline all the new features of the new website, but I am a bit fried since it is 2:00 AM in the morning. I will get a features list up when I wake up. For now you can dig through the website and find the new features for yourself.
Major redesign in progress
For now we are going to continue to use the site that was designed in iWeb. But it takes a long time for it to publish via FTP and is not going to be efficient in the long run. Hence I have picked RapidWeaver to develop the new 2.0 site in, it will not be done for a while so do not worry! By using RapidWeaver we will also increase GoogleBot compatability which will make my website more visible to the general internet! RapidWeaver will also make the site more easy to use and appealing to the eye. Google AdSense will NOT be on the new website. No blog posts or anything will be lost, that is why this redesign is going to take so long!
Site now on sherver!
If you are reading this then you are successfully connecting to the sherver! The main website is now hosted on the sherver. The site has been deleted from the .Mac server. Photo galleries will continue to be hosted on .Mac, Google may have problems for a while with the sudden drop from the other server. The reason Google will probably have problems is due to the dirty redirect method that I am using to get the domain routing to work. Hopefully nothing will become severely broken due to the dirty redirects, I will be notifying google of the switch via the Google Webmaster Tools system. Hopefully that will allow google to fix that up.
Site was down
The transfer attempt
has failed due to some unknown reason. The site
has been restored back to its original function
on the .Mac hosting system. It is unknown if I
caused this transfer failure. The transfer
failure occured within the domain routing for the
http://www.alinssite.info
domain. There is an exact duplicate of this
website already running on the sherver at
http://alinssite.iguido.com
the issue is I need to figure out how to get
the domain routings correct. I will figure it
out one of these days. But the site is back up
and running luckily. I have decided that i
will create a new variable on the domain name
www2.alinssite.info for experimentation. This
site will always be accessible with www.alinssite.info
hopefully I can figure out what is going on
with these wonky domains. I am going to go to
sleep now. goodnight!
Site was down from approximately, 1/25/08 10:00
PM CST until 1/26/08 2:45 AM CST
alinssite.info to move to sherver soon
The site will be compatable with the sherver. I had to make some modifications to the iWeb frameworks. Expect transition to sherver soon. The photo galleries are currently hosted on .Mac hosting and will expire in september. I will be moving the photos into galleries that are built into the website.
Forum moved to sherver
The transfer of the
forum is now complete! Domain transfer will take
till March 1st due to ICANN’s international
registrar regulation stating that no transfer may
occur until 60 days after the domain’s initial
purchase. I bought the domain on January 1st so
it will transfer on March 1st. The forum will be
accessible using the http://disabledplanet.iguido.com
subdomain until then.
PLEASE CLEAR YOUR BROWSER COOKIES AND CACHE
BEFORE RETURNING TO THE FORUM... FAILURE TO DO SO
MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS!!!
It now runs on the newest version of phpBB which
is phpBB3. The forum used to run phpBB2
Planning the move to Saxline's sherver
I have good news for
all of you. Last year on september 21st we moved
the website to .Mac hosting. At $100 dollars a
year it is quite expensive, Add $25 dollars per
year for domain name registration, and the total
is $125 per year. Well, A friend of mine known as
Saxline who has decided to make me the co-admin
of all operations at his website. I am really
happy about this as he has given me full admin
rights over his dedicated server which I have now
codenamed a sherver due to the fact that we are
sharing it now. This means that my total cost per
year will be down to $25 for web hosting needs.
Transitioning will be easy, there will be no
action needed on your end, the domain name will
continue to be the same http://www.alinssite.info
domain name. Though there are just a few small
issues. iWeb was originally designed for the
.Mac platform and some features will not be
properly transitioned over to the new server.
These features include blog comments and the
photo gallery system. We will not be able to
keep blog comments that we already have nor
will we be able to allow comments on the new
server. The photo gallery system will no
longer be at gallery.mac.com it will be moved
into internal pages within this site like the
old first generation website.
The website is not moving yet!!! You will all be
notified 24 hours before the move is to occur so
you know to expect a few hours of downtime. The
website will be moved on september 20nd, exactly
one day before the .Mac hosting package expires.
As an early preparation step I have shut
commenting off on the blog. Photo galleries will
remain as is until early september when I kick
transitioning tasks into high gear.
And for those of you techies out there here are
the basic server stats.
750GB hard drive space.
7.5TB monthly bandwidth transfer
Unlimited email accounts
Unlimited sub-domains
Unlimited FTP accounts
Unlimited SQL databases
i686 architecture
Linux OS
Ramp completed!
E-Mailing list
I have been
maintaining a private E-Mailing list with friends
and family that alerts them of blog and website
updates. I am excited to tell you that I am
opening the list up to ANYONE who is interested
in subscribing.
All you need to do to subscribe is click on the
picture above or E-Mailing List In the menu!
This is a great addition to the site as it will
allow you all to stay up to date as the site is
updated!
3000th view
At 1:29:20PM the
website received its 3000th view.
The site was started July 11th 2007 or 190 days
ago. Which equates to approximately 15.7 views
per day, 110.2 views per week, 476.1 per month.
As you can see the website is beginning to spread
and also receive a higher view rate. This
positive impact can be owed to a few things.
Increased cross-linking with other websites,
Google listing beginning to become active, domain
picking up more traffic by being easier for
people to type.
Just because we hit 3000 doesn’t mean you can
stop coming to the site, there will continue to
be frequent news updates so make sure to check
the blog every few days!
Fifth day sick
Finally starting to
get better after approximately 48 hours on
antibiotics. Odd thing is the Entex never came in
either due to the fact that was discontinued too!
Yesterday we just decided to go get Mucinex
pediatric liquid cough suppressant, nasal
decongestant, and secretion suppressant. The
Mucinex liquid is really helping clean out my
sinuses and also stop the over secretion. You may
wonder “Why pediatric?” As you may already know I
have lost a lot of weight over the last year due
to this neurological disease speeding up my
metabolism and making feeding very difficult.
Hence I am constantly loosing weight. At some
point in the future it is very likely that I will
need to get a G-Tube. Another
reason is most pills that are on the market
for this purpose are too large for me to
swallow. Hence liquid drugs will be used more
and more until pills are completely eliminated
as progression continues. And when I do get
the G-Tube drugs can easily be put in
directly.
Due to the total lack of news Tuesday and
yesterday I decided that it was not worth it to
waste time making blog posts with no news at all
to blog about.
Second day sick
Symptoms worsened from yesterday mom, and I decided to heed the doctor’s advice in calling as soon as symptoms start worsening at all. The doctor scheduled us in for 2:00 PM in an urgent care slot. At 2:00 PM we went to the doctor and he made the diagnosis for this current sickness, “A croup type infection of the upper respiratory system.” After making that diagnosis he proceeded to give me the usual Zithromax but this time added Respaire which is a prescription strength cough suppressant and sore throat suppressant and secretion suppressant, I had a small trial for 3 days of Respaire on my last sickness, This is I think a 14 day prescription or something.
Sick
Same symptoms I usually get for upper respiratory infection. Looks like we will be going to the doctor tomorrow if things do not change quickly for the better. I am currently attributing this to several things, loss of sleep, increasing aspiration frequency, and my immunodeficient state. Increasing aspiration frequency definitely increases susceptibility to upper respiratory infections, along with my weakening coughing and secretion removal abilities that are slowly weakening. Weakened secretion clearing and cough ability are common in neuro-degenerative disease and lead to many deaths due to the very heavily increased upper respiratory infection frequency. Hence, Respironics corp. came into the picture with a specialized Non Invasive Burst Ventilator also known as the Respironics CoughAssist. It is a type of Non Invasive Ventilator that the user is interfaced with a mask, The CoughAssist adds inspiratory pressure to push a good amount of air into the lungs and then quickly reverses the pressure, This creates an artificially produced cough. Sounds like something that might come into my picture in the future.
Powerchair delayed
The above humorous
image is what my mind painted today around 11 in
the morning, and is what i just finished making
in Adobe Photoshop. Why, we decided to call the
powerchair dealer to check order progress hoping
that it about ready to ship out. WRONG! The
insurance company froze the process due to the
fact that the forms are more than three months
old and they want new forms. Both the powerchair
dealer and my doctor got notice that they need to
re-file their forms on Wednesday this week. The
doctor rushed his forms back to the powerchair
dealer today, only two days after receipt of
them. We do not know how long the delay will be,
but we are sure it will add at least another week
onto the wait.
Note: IVC-080891 is not a valid order number, the
real order number is secret.

Happy new years!
Welcome to 2008
everyone. this is a big year of advancements for
us. practically a new life is starting this year.
2008 on the zodiac is the year of the... bah
forget it i forgot, 2008 on the Aliniac is the
year of the powerchair! thats all you need to
know...
I never thought of a new years resolution and
being what condition i am in i have the liberty
to not need one.
However goal 2008 is to get high school “fixed”
as of right now i am doing homebound but we need
to get me set up with an online high school since
its terribly tedious to have to have someone else
write everything for me or scan and then “write”
it in the computer. with internet based school i
would just type in my answers.
